Who was Gregor Mendel?
Gregor Mendel was born on July 22, 1822. He was known as the "Father of Genetics". He studied domain and recessive traits in pea plants. He discovered that parents have recessive and domain traits. Between 1856 and 1863 Mendel patiently studied and tested at least 28,000 pea plants.
